1, positioning
The ideal position of the ventilator should be close to the ridge line. When positioning, the waterproof base plate should be placed on the roof and the edge of the base plate tilted should be inserted into the gap under the ridge metal cover about 50-100mm (the base plate is folded along with the pliers. 10 ~ 20mm Alice).
2, cutting hole
Using the inner hole of the waterproof substrate as a template, draw the outline of the hole, and then use a roof cutting machine to complete the cutting of the hole. And trim the edges. The insulation cotton is cut in a rice shape with a sharp blade. After removing some of the insulation cotton, the insulation cotton and aluminum foil are inserted between the steel plate and the insulation cotton.
3, waterproof adhesive tape, waterproof silicone
Attach a waterproof glue tape at the joint of the waterproof base plate and the roof cover plate. At the top of both sides of the complete peak, put a waterproof glue tape, and waterproof silicone on the plug and color plate to tear off the upper paper.
4, fixed waterproof substrate
Use at least 10 self-tapping screws or rivets to fix the waterproof substrate on the roof.
5, install variable angle tube neck
The variable angle tube neck is placed on the base plate, and no power ventilator is used to rotate the variable angle neck portion, and the 90 degree angle is adjusted by the level meter, so that the upper surface of the variable angle neck is horizontal. After the adjustment is completed, a marker will be used to mark the line between the upper and lower rotating parts of the neck and the angled neck and the substrate.
6, fixed angle tube neck
Use metal clips and aluminum pull rivets to secure the upper and lower parts of the tube neck together. Also note the alignment of the original scribe marks.
7. Fix the turbine head on the neck of variable angle tube
The four support arms of the turbine head are snapped in the grooves, and four aluminum rivets or screws are used to fix the turbine head on the angled neck.
8, fixed, check and adjust
Use at least four blind rivets to secure the fan to the base plate. Check the screws to see if the rivet is secure. Check whether the turbine head rotates smoothly. Sometimes the turbine head is slightly deformed due to the transportation or installation process. Can be slightly adjusted by hand. Unpowered ventilators are finally coated with waterproof silicone around the plug and substrate.
